Farooq Karim Wins Excellence in Architecture Award

Farooq Karim, Vice President and Director of Design at REES, has been named a 2022 Excellence in Construction and Real Estate award winner by The Journal Record in the Architecture category. The award honors professionals who have had a positive effect in the construction, real estate and related industries in Oklahoma.

Farooq and the other honorees will be celebrated at an event hosted by The Journal Record on July 7 at the Oklahoma History Center.

In addition to his work with clients, Farooq is active in leadership roles throughout the state including serving as: 2023 OKC Festival of the Arts Co-Chair, Boy Scouts of America Last Frontier Council Board Member, Leadership Oklahoma Board Member and President of the OU Bizzell Library Society.
