Kate Howell Recognized as ENR’s National Top 20 Under 40

Kate Howell, a Design Team Leader for REES, has been named as one of Engineering News Records’ National Top 20 Under 40. This award recognizes the best of the construction industry, honoring the 20 top candidates from across the country.

Since beginning her career at REES in 2006, Kate has risen to become Design Team Leader for REES’ Oklahoma City office. Kate leads a talented team of architects and interior designers to complete corporate commercial, healthcare, higher education and nonprofit projects. She has worked on over 250 projects in the state and around the country. Her projects range from small renovations to headquarters for Fortune 500 companies. Her project honors include IIDA Best in City Center, AIA Oklahoma Peoples’ Choice, Oklahoma Interior Design Coalition awards and many more.

Kate spends her free time serving several community organizations that support women, the design industry, arts and those in need. These organizations include Oklahoma State University’s Professional Advisory Board, Allied Arts and The United Way of Central Oklahoma.

Kate was also recently recognized as one of ENR Texas Louisiana’s Top Young Professionals for 2020.
