Ambulatory Surgery Center with a Warm and Inviting Environment for Patients

McBride wanted to relocate their ambulatory surgery center closer to campus of their recently completed hospital, clinic and medical office building, which were also designed by REES. The 36,746-square-foot building brings six operating rooms, a 24-bed prep and recovery unit as well as a 12-bed PACU unit to the Oklahoma City campus. A blend of metal panels, concrete and limestone detailing cover the exterior to match the rest of the campus. The large waiting room features a glass wall with large ceiling and wood elements creating a warm and inviting environment for patients.
