An Oklahoma-Inspired, Relaxing Haven for Children with Cancer
REES performed furniture, fixtures, and equipment services for the 25,000–square–foot OK Kids Korral. The Korral has 16 guest rooms and features icons found only in the Sooner state. A one–of–a–kind glass sculpture of Oklahoma’s 77 counties and various artwork from some of the state’s most talented artists can be found throughout the facility. The design team helped condense the over-complicated and streamlined the overall feel of the home-away-from-home. “We simply hope that the care and thought we put in the house brings them a little happiness and peace,” said Juliet Nees–Bright, executive director. REES continues to serve the families at OK Kids Korral by preparing and serving meals once a month.
Hundreds of people have walked through our doors and commented on who was responsible for making the Korral feel so warm and bright and that was [REES]”
