Sovereign Medical Clinic Is Prototype for Urgent Care in Oklahoma

The only urgent care clinic located on the south side of Norman, Oklahoma, this new facility accommodates the family healthcare needs of employees of the Chickasaw Nation’s nearby casino, whose schedules often do not coincide with traditional medical office hours. In addition, this new healthcare prototype serves the healthcare needs of the surrounding community, which is a new healthcare model for the Chickasaw Nation. This new clinic will be used as a prototype design for future Sovereign Clinics across the nation. The new family medicine and urgent care clinic contains fourteen exam and treatment rooms, an imaging center, a laboratory and a pharmacy that is accessible both from the public lobby and a drive-through portal on the east side.
