Culberson Hospital is an 18–bed Critical Access Hospital completed in two phases. This included a new addition and an interior renovation of the existing building. Patient rooms are designed as super single rooms. They are primarily used as private rooms with the capability to contain two beds in case of emergency. The imaging center is located adjacent to the emergency department to provide ease of access for emergency patients. It includes a general radiology room, mammography room and CT room. The reception desk is centrally located and doubles as a nurse station.
Based on this and previous projects, the staff at REES have consistently proven their willingness to work with the client to accomplish the client’s specific objectives as to both quality and cost, meeting all project deadlines along the way. In particular, REES has been very sensitive to the budget limitations prevalent in smaller communities, and has been very willing to look for the most cost effective solutions in terms of square footage, department adjacencies, facility design and finishes.
