A Fortune 500 Technology Company needed space to showcase the capabilities of their cyber security operations. The Cyber Defense Center houses a team of incident response analysts. Nearly 3.5 billion security events are evaluated each day at the company and this team handles the most complex cases.

REES worked with the company to design an open-concept workspace that promotes collaboration. Interactive touchscreens coupled with advanced audio-visual features facilitate effective team collaboration and smooth information exchange. The design team recommended several design features to help provide an immersive experience for visiting customers and employees. Customers interested in using the company’s products learn about cybersecurity operations in the briefing room, then experience active operations as they tour the space. To protect confidential information, the glass wall between the main center and the briefing room transitions from transparent to opaque with the flip of a switch. The room’s lighting is designed to change during events. Several accent lights change to red during a high severity incident.
