George Allen Courthouse

An efficient, urban renovation to the George Allen Courthouse

Located in the heart of downtown Dallas, the 40-year old, 425,000-square-foot George Allen Sr. Courts Building received a nine-story, 210,000-square-foot addition and renovation. Individual court jurisdictions were unified and restacked. High-volume, high-risk family courts were relocated to lower levels with escalator access, significantly improving security and response time. The new court tower is a monumental backdrop to this important urban space, as well as a prominent entrance to the George Allen Building.
