Outpatient Clinic Designed to Give Veterans Holistic Healing

Delivered as a Design-Build/Lease-back project, the new Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic serves 46,000 veterans in the Corpus Christi area. The design of the clinic embraces the holistic healing, planetree model of patient-centered care, and incorporates natural stone and soothing water features. The natural theme is carried to the exterior through the use of locally-sourced Texas limestone. The multi-specialty clinic provides cardiology, pulmonary, dermatology, endocrinology, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental, prosthetics and orthopedic services. The clinic’s floor plan is strategically organized to maximize operational and functional efficiency between departments. LEED Silver Certified.
