Library Stairwell Renovation
Built in 1982, this stairwell wasn’t originally designed to be the main stair for the facility, but thanks to recent renovations, that’s exactly what it has become. The stair was updated to meet current code requirements and received a fresh new look. REES proposed three design options featuring lighting options, durable finishes and a railing system that adds usable space by being fastened to the outside edge of the stair. To meet a tight budget and schedule, REES had to be strategic when choosing systems and finishes, ensuring they were readily available with short lead times to avoid any delays.
