Schusterman Clinic and Research Building for OU’s College of Medicine

The facility contains 98,000 square feet of clinical and research space for the University of Oklahoma’s College of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The building is designed to accommodate various disciplines including community outreach programs for psychiatric and chronically ill patients. Additional patient services include a pharmacy, imaging and lab. The large open atrium is the design’s focal point. Each clinic’s waiting area opens onto a shared concourse that overlooks the atrium, creating an open, airy space that accommodates the large families of many patients.
