Surgical Suite Renovation to Increase Capacity and Attract Staff

Covenant Hospital needed to increase the size and capacity of its operating suites without impacting their ability to serve patients. REES designed a new 22,000–square–foot, second–floor surgical suite that provides six large operating rooms, two procedure rooms, private pre–op areas and a spacious recovery space. In addition, our phased construction plan ensured that the hospital and existing operating rooms remained open throughout construction. The new surgical suite will also serve as a recruiting tool, attracting skilled staff members to this healthcare facility.
