REES Announces Newest Associates
We’re pleased to announce several promotions to round out the 2019 year! The following promotions were given to employees who have excelled in their work, have been examples of our founding values and are a reflection of where our firm is going in the future. Join us in congratulating the following promotions:
Lydia Arguello, LEED AP has over eleven years of experience as a project architect and project manager. Lydia has worked on many of REES’ corporate, higher education and healthcare projects. Lydia is a LEED Accredited Professional and has an ADA Planning and Accessibility certification for Oklahoma City.
Lydia received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. She has previously served as a member of the AIA Central Oklahoma Board of Directors.
Julie Hornbeek, RID is a member of the REES design team with a large role in graphic creation, everything from renderings to presentation materials. She currently serves our corporate, community, healthcare and higher education clients.
Julie is a registered interior designer and received a Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Oklahoma. Outside the office, Julie spends her time practicing yoga, cooking, reading mystery novels and spending time with her family.
Kendall Macon, AIA has more than 13 years of experience and works on REES’ senior living, multifamily and corporate commercial projects. He has been a crucial part of establishing REES’ multifamily market.
Kendall received his Master of Architecture from Texas Tech University. He is also the captain of the REES Hearts and Hammers project team.
Chris Muder has over 14 years of experience in the industry and leads REES’ senior living market. He’s also involved in a range of projects from multiple sectors including healthcare, K–12 schools and retail.
Chris received his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana Tech University. Chris is also an experienced public speaker and has presented at several senior living-focused engagements.
Benjamin Shullaw, AIA is an architect and visualization specialist with more than nine years of experience. Benjamin has contributed to projects in a variety of sectors including corporate commercial, higher education, healthcare and senior living.
Benjamin is a registered architect and received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. He also has a National Council of Architectural Registration (NCARB) certification.
