The Hacienda at Georgetown Earns National Acclaim in the 2024 Environments for Aging Dining Competition
Honoring the best dining spaces in senior living, The Hacienda at Georgetown has been named a Silver Winner in the 2024 Environments for Aging (EFA) Dining Competition!
The EFA Dining Competition recognizes exceptional dining experiences in senior living facilities. The annual competition showcases communities that offer a variety of dining options, promote resident connection, contribute to a memorable dining experience and efficiently support operations in both the front- and back-of-house.
The Hacienda at Georgetown is a premier lifestyle-focused senior living destination. The 270,000-square-foot community has 230 residences across Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Residents can dine at one of six locations on campus, each with its own distinct experience. The Alma, the senior living industry’s first public-facing restaurant features a menu and wine list inspired by the Texas Hill Country. Led in partnership with James Beard award-winning chef Stephen Pyles, the restaurant has become a hub in the city, redefining perceptions of senior living. The community’s additional venues range from refined dining to causal cafés. The dining spaces are centered around a strategically positioned kitchen, which ensures that back-of-house operations can efficiently cater to each venue’s needs. Read more about the project here.
