New Home for Boorstin Collection Reflects Heritage

The renovation of Lower Level 2 meant that the Boorstin Collection needed a new home. REES took a space in a prominent location, formerly occupied by a computer lab, and developed a space perfect for hosting the collection. New furniture and technology make the space perfect for reading, studying and hosting small events. Layouts are defined by furniture and shelf placement and the design reflects the heritage of the building, which was built in 1929. This renovation gave a home to a displaced collection and creates a sense of place for a room that was underutilized.
