Schieffer Journalism School Updates Facilities to Match Changing Media

The Schieffer School of Journalism at TCU needed its facilities to reflect changes in how news is gathered and shared. Located in the nation’s sixth-largest media market, the school desired a design that reflected converged news gathering and dissemination. REES utilized our experience working with professional media organizations and other communications schools to create a design that enables students to work with the same types of spaces and equipment as professionals. To achieve the Schieffer School’s goals, REES renovated and created an addition to the Moudy Visual Arts and Communications Building. The school now has the facilities to match its reputation as one of the top journalism schools in the nation.
