EMS Facility Provides Expanded Care on Tribal Campus

The Chickasaw Nation Department of Health wanted to expand services and departments within an existing medical center on the Tribal Health campus in Ada, Oklahoma. As part of a planning exercise with REES, it was determined that additional freestanding facilities were necessary in order to efficiently expand services. The new 12,000–square–foot EMS facility provides residence space for employees, a garage for EMS vehicles and extra storage for the existing medical center. By moving these elements to a new building, space is freed up within the existing medical center for future departmental expansion.
