When establishing their new headquarters, they asked REES to design a sophisticated, high-end space that reflects the firm’s profile. This upscale 12,000-square-foot office in Southlake, Texas blends traditional elements with modern design. Executive offices, partner workspaces and a spacious boardroom accommodate diverse needs. The reception area and lounge spaces offer an inviting atmosphere for casual conversations and informal planning sessions.

Thoughtful design touches fill the space. The catering kitchen between the boardroom and conference room has a hidden, separate entrance allowing food preparation without interruption. Large windows along the perimeter provide an abundance of natural light, keeping the office environment light and open. When needed, automated window shades reduce solar glare with the touch of a button. Conference rooms and offices are equipped with the latest smart technology, seamlessly connecting through a system of authenticating key fobs. Open concept work areas improve team collaboration and productivity. Investing in the employee experience, the break room encourages time to socialize, while the mother’s room offers nursing mothers a private, comfortable place to relax.

Design elements have a western influence throughout the office. Distinct features in the lobby include rich leather incorporated into the linear light hanging above the reception desk and wrapped door poles leading into the two meeting rooms. Walnut wood tones are used throughout, infusing warmth and character into each area. Commissioned artwork from the founder’s property in Montana fills the office which reflects the beauty and landscapes of the region. The office cultivates a distinct atmosphere of elegance, offering a welcoming environment for daily operations and events.
