Small Hospital Renovation Creates a Big Experience for Patients

Mercy wanted to improve their patients’ experience and expand their waiting room to accommodate the Ada campus’ growth. We designed a 6,100-square-foot renovation to create a larger waiting area, new reception desk and renovated gift shop. Phlebotomy, Imaging, EKG and X-Ray rooms were placed closer to the admitting area to streamline the admission process. Mercy’s new branding standards were introduced with a refreshed color palette and wood feature wall. The chapel was relocated to a more accessible and prominent location near the waiting room to increase visibility and use. The new layout provides a stronger first impression to guests and increased convenience and privacy during the admission process.
