Independent Senior Living Hub
Challenged by the need to position itself to attract a new generation of seniors, Wesley Commons engaged REES to renovate the lobby, cafe, marketing and reception areas in the Independent Living Commons. The community wanted to create an open, high-activity area to impress a sense of liveliness upon its visitors. The REES design team carefully bridged traditional and contemporary elements to balance the community’s marketability to new residents with the need to maintain the comfort of existing residents. By removing walls outside the existing dining room, the team created an open bistro area that doubles as a pre-function space and is visible from the rest of the entry.
“Wesley Commons has enjoyed our working relationship with the REES team. While the current economic environment has created several challenges, we felt determined to forge ahead with our plans of advancement of our Mission. This required REES to become as nimble and responsive as the Wesley Commons Team… they proved very skilled in that area. I am pleased with their support and creativity, but I am most impressed by the culture of service which is evident by their persistent pursuit of excellence in serving our needs.”
