New Senior Center Expands City’s Ability to Serve Citizens
The City of Ada wanted to grow their senior citizen program by offering more amenities and activities in a brand new “destination” space. REES responded with designs for a 12,500–square–foot building that offers classrooms, an
Internet café, kitchen and dining, movie room, flexible gymnasium, library and offices. The facility is warm and welcoming, featuring local stone and wood elements both inside and out, as well as an abundance of natural light. The library and dining received decorative ceiling elements while the central gallery features exposed wood beams.
